About Us
Just who sprouted this one of a kind initiative?
The Plant Whisperer Hotel and Spa came about soon after Shireen relocated to the area from the Jersey Shore where she always had a passion for gardening. Once settled here in the area, she was determined to creating an urban oasis in her new home similar to what she had in NJ.
Impressed by how well her plants were thriving, friends and neighbors began making "hotel reservations" when they would go out of town. Hence, the concept of a plant hotel and spa was cultivated.
The Plant Whisperer Plant Hotel & Spa is a service dedicated to bringing plant owners peace of mind with tending for their plants while they're away. From pots to plant care, The Plant Whisperer Hotel & Spa offers a unique approach to personalized plant care.
Services
Spa service is included with each stay.
Upon checkin, your plants are treated to clearing of falling off leaves, gentle bath of cool gentle water and if needed, soil aeration for better water absorption. Plants receive daily hand misting and daily window rotation.
Are your plants outgrowing their containers?
Let us know. Plant growth is stunted when the roots don’t have room to spread out. Kind of like when your shoes are too tight. Just provide us with the pot and we will be happy to repot your plants into their new home.
The Plant Whisperer Hotel & Spa wants to make sure your plants will truly enjoy their stay with us.
We offer accommodations from the sun-soaked window placement to a comfortable indirect sun spot depending on your plant’s preference. Just let us know.
Hotel Rates & Hours
Rates:
Limited to 6 plants per reservation
$12 per day up to (3) plants
$15 per day 4-6 plants
Repotting: $10 Includes fresh soil.
Client will provide container for their plant.
Hotel Policy:
Only healthy plants in good condition are accepted. Reservations must be paid in full prior to drop off. Plants must be dropped off and picked up during the agreed time.
Late Fees:
Plants not picked up on time are subject to a $25 late fee. Plants will be considered abandoned and will not returned until balance due is paid. A $25 late fee will be added to the balance and must be paid in cash upon pick up.
Hotel Hours:
Mon - Fri: 9am - 6pm
Sat: 10am - 2pm
Sun: Closed

Located in Reston, VA, our hotel booking process is quite straightforward.
Just provide us with your travel details — date of departure, date of return — and how many plants you need to be homed during that time.
Once you're in touch with the hotel manager, they will advise on the drop off and pick up of your plants.
